From time to time we have special parish functions "just for fun". Two or three times a year we hold parish BBQs after our main morning service (always on Fathers' Day in June and around our Anniversary Service in late September). It gives us a time to get together, eat and hang around as members of a family of Christ. We also have an overnight at Lavrock camp in the spring and occasional outdoor services on summery Sunday evenings to help connect people with one another in a non-worship setting. We believe it is easier to work and worship together when we know one another a little better!
