Internationationally Acclaimed Musician Ray Hughes is Coming to St. Thomas'
We are excited to welcome to our church community Ray Hughes. Ray is the founder of Selah Ministries, and has been in full time ministry for 40 years. He received his Doctorate of Divinity in 1996. He travels in the U.S. and internationally as a speaker, author, storyteller, singer/songwriter and musicologist. In addition to his research and teaching expertise, Ray is recognized internationally as a clear prophetic voice. He has been to St. John’s twice before but this is the first time in 15 years he has visited the province.
Ray is passionate about training musicians, releasing creative people into their destinies, and launching them with purpose into the world and church. He is a prophetic historian who re-digs the wells of biblical, world and recent history for the purpose of releasing the fresh word of God for the kingdom today. He will be in St. John’s May 26-29. He will speak and help lead in worship at our 10:30 am Sunday worship (May 26), as well as speaking at our Parish Gathering luncheon after the service. He will also be offering a concert at the church on Monday evening May 27 @ 7:00pm. He will also be appearing at several other churches in the St. John’s area. Those dates and times TBA.
